He attended Cross River State College of Education Akamkpa, where he studied physics/Integrated and graduated in 1996,he then proceeded to University of Uyo Akwaibom State where he studied physics/Education and graduated in 2002,he then took a teaching job with Cross River State Government.In 2010 he represented his ward as Mbube East Ward 2 as a Councilor and was Elected the deputy leader of the house,In 2020 he was appointed as supervisor for Education Ogoja Local Government,He is currently the Special Adviser to the chairman of Ogoja Local Government on political and legislative affairs,He belong to the following professional bodies,(NUT) National Union of teachers,(STAN) Science teachers Association of Nigeria
