Sean D. Green, M.D. was born an raised in Coatesville, PA before moving to Norristown, PA in 1979.  He graduated from Norristown High School before attending the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.  He graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biochemistry.  Dr. Green would go on to complete his Medical Degree at Hahnemann University in 1996.  He finished his Residency in Family Medicine in 1999 at the Bryn Mawr Family Practice.  Dr. Green spent one year as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at MIT in the Department of Bioengineering and Environmental health researching “Cell Cycle Regulation by p53”.

Dr. Green started Green Healthcare Associates in 2002.  He was a solo practitioner with GHA, Inc. until 2016.  During his time as a solo provider Dr. Green also worked part-time for the Veterans Administration and MedExpress Urgent Care.

Dr. Green has been a Clinical Site Lead at Chambers Hill Family Care.  He was the Chief Medical Officer at Quality Community Health Care prior to joining Sunnyvale.

Dr. Green has been a Board-Certified Family Physician since 2003.

Dr. Green is a volunteer and a Board Member of The Gold Coast Medical Foundation an International Organization based in the Bronx, NY and Accra, Ghana.  Dr. Green as participated in Medical Clinics in Ghana with the GCMF since 2019.  Dr. Green is also a Board Member of the Friends of Chalmers Park Association.   The mission of the organization is to maintain Chalmers Park as a vital part of the North Philadelphia Community at 29th and Chalmers Ave.

Dr. Green is married to Kathleen. They have a blended family with 5 children and 10 Grandchildren.  Dr. Green is an accomplished chess player having won several tournaments.  Dr. Green’s other hobbies include collecting and traveling.
